On Saturday 18 April, 28 tractors set off on a scenic two-hour tour through mid-Derbyshire, raising funds in support of Treetops Hospice. Thanks to the generosity of those involved, the event raised over £525 for this important local charity.

The run brought together a wide variety of tractors, with well-known makes including Massey Ferguson, Marshall, International, Ford, David Brown, John Deere and Valtra all represented—making for an impressive and colourful convoy.

The event was hosted by The Bear Inn, where all tractors assembled before setting off and returned at the end of the route. We were fortunate to enjoy kind weather throughout, which helped make the day even more enjoyable for participants and spectators alike.

Tractors and drivers from Alderwasley parish and the surrounding area were invited by Sid Doxey and David Twigg, while the charitable aspects of the event were organised by Jane Kirkman and Valerie Lindsay.

A very big thank you to Sid, David, Jane and Valerie for their hard work in making the event such a success. Our thanks also go to all the tractor drivers who took part and supported the day.
